Alicia Francis is a scientist and entrepreneur with 20+ years in the Life Science and Clinical Diagnostic sectors. With an innate ability to transform disruptive technologies into thriving commercial ventures, Alicia’s journey is defined by her passion for innovation, leadership, and commitment to health equity. She is known for building team cultures that generate breakthrough results, empowerment, and accountability. In addition to holding roles of increasing responsibility at marquis organizations such as Roche, Danaher, and Illumina, Alicia’s expertise has been sought after in the start-up world where she played pivotal roles from launch to exit. In 2022 Alicia embarked on what she considers to be her most ambitious venture: the founding of “Intensity Solutions”, a boutique consulting firm on a mission to usher in a new era of companies dedicated to solving disparities in healthcare access and outcomes globally. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Biology and Biotechnology from Columbia University. Beyond her career, Alicia takes immense pride in her role as a wife and mother. Family remains at the heart of her life, providing her with the inspiration and balance to excel in her professional endeavors .
