Of course, we would be remiss to not mention ventureLAB’s own innovation hub! We teamed up with the IBM Canada headquarters last year to put together a tech-based co-working space, offering access to lead IBM business, engineering and technical resources, ventureLAB advisory services and the Venture Services program, and exclusive opportunities and workshops. Other benefits include being co-located with the Ontario Centres of Excellence, NRC-IRAP, York Angels, Markham Board of Trade, Markham Small Business Centre, York University and Seneca College among many innovative startups. NewMakeIt – Newmarket

Located in Newmarket, NewMakeIt is a membership-based makerspace and co-working space. Their facilities include access to equipment like 3D printers and CNC Machinery to develop your prototype, a large workspace with tools and experts to help you build and workshops. With monthly and weekly events, NewMakeIt is a very community driven co-working space that innovators can take advantage of. Drop-ins are welcome at $20/day and can access internet, printing/scanning, free parking, a desk and meeting rooms. Other levels of membership can even give your company a mailing address to help you level up your business.

TechConnex HUB – Markham

TechConnex is a paid-membership based organization that supports SMEs and small business in the tech sector in York Region. They also offer permanent desk or office space to tech companies ranging between $250 – $350/month depending on your company’s needs.
