Co-Working Spaces in York Region
Yes! It’s true! York Region is a thriving hub of innovation and startup energy, with over 4300 ICT companies and approximately 30,630 residents working in tech (but we always encourage more!). Because of our solid tech infrastructure, we have some great co-working spaces in York Region to help support it. We hear it all the time, “Downtown Toronto just has better opportunities and more connections. That’s where everything is happening for startups!” Well, we beg to differ. In fact, we’re so confident in our innovative startup community we’re going to invite you to join a co-working space in your community and see the positive results for yourself.
Of course, we would be remiss to not mention ventureLAB’s own innovation hub! We teamed up with the IBM Canada headquarters last year to put together a tech-based co-working space, offering access to lead IBM business, engineering and technical resources, ventureLAB advisory services and the Venture Services program, and exclusive opportunities and workshops. Other benefits include being co-located with the Ontario Centres of Excellence, NRC-IRAP, York Angels, Markham Board of Trade, Markham Small Business Centre, York University and Seneca College among many innovative startups. We also offer a one year free licence to Watson Analytics software and joint marketing and promotion for participating companies.
