Many software organizations spend little time focusing on their pricing strategy: “more of an art than science” is an often erroneous approach that leads to suboptimal growth and lower financial outcomes. Industry leading software vendors however, take a more rigorous approach to pricing using value-based pricing and packaging processes that optimize acquisitions, upgrades, upsell, renewals, and win-backs.
In this session, led by Scott Miller, we will discuss best practices in pricing and offer design, the importance of linking price to the software “value story”, as well as an open discussion to help address some of your organization’s challenges and pricing opportunities.
Scott Miller has over 20 years of pricing experience that includes senior consulting roles as well as corporate global pricing director roles with $10B technology firms. Scott is also a trusted advisor to, and a Fellow of, the International Software Product Management Association (ispma.org). He is also a CPA, CMA, a published author, and speaker on best-in-class pricing practices.
