Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Firmware/Software Developer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills in Rust and Python, with extensive experience in working with STM32 System on a Chip (SOC) and a solid understanding of digital signal processing.
You will play a crucial role in developing firmware and software for our innovative products, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Position Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain firmware and software for embedded systems, primarily focusing on STM32 SOC.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and architecture. Implement and optimize digital signal processing algorithms.
- Develop efficient code in Rust and Python to meet performance requirements.
- Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and testing of firmware and software to ensure quality and functionality.
- Document software designs, code, and processes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in firmware and software development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in firmware/software development, specifically with STM32 SOC.
- Strong proficiency in Rust and Python programming languages.
- Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) concepts and implementation.
- Familiarity with embedded systems design and architecture.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
