Program Coordinator, Women Entrepreneurship Strategy

Position Profile


Tech Undivided bridges gender and diversity gaps in the tech sector to support women in tech: female founders, women working in technical roles, and women leaders in tech companies. Tech Undivided goes beyond technology and business support by curating a supportive community focused on equality, open dialogue, and overcoming obstacles.

Tech Undivided is funded in part by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, as part of the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy (WES).


As the Program Coordinator, WES, you will work with the ventureLAB team, partners, and stakeholders, to support and execute key programming, initiatives and events as part of Tech Undivided. Specifically, your role will work cross-functionally with the ventureLAB team to develop the related programming and assist in the execution of workshops and events.


In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of professionals, including the ventureLAB team, tech entrepreneurs, industry executives, and our public and private sector partners. Most of the work will take place virtually, however, you may be asked to come into our physical office in a socially distant way that is inline with government health guidelines.




The Program Coordinator, WES will:

  1. Provide administrative and operational support required to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Tech Undivided program
  2. Execute key meetings, programming and special events, including but not limited to: liaising with various stakeholders, creating appropriate communications, managing virtual event logistics and registration, and working with Marketing on promotional and communications activities
  3. Working closely with the Venture Growth team and help to document, monitor and ensure accountability of program clients in achieving their key milestones
  4. Curate educational content, events and opportunities available to technology entrepreneurs, for the monthly Programs Newsletter and community Slack channels
  5. Actively engage with entrepreneurs to better understand their needs, and offer programming and event recommendations based on observations and client conversations
  6. Ensure all client metrics and records are accurately updated within Salesforce on a timely basis, and that relevant reports and program dashboards are created to measure impact and provide valuable insights to management and other relevant stakeholders
  7. Other duties as required



  1.  Preferred post-secondary education in public administration, business, entrepreneurship, or a related field with 1-2 years of related business experience, preferably in a not-for-profit or government organization
  2. Experience as program coordinator or relevant position (or proven knowledge of project and/or event management best practices)
  3. Proficient with Microsoft Office and G-Suite
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  6. Demonstrates great interpersonal skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  7. A self-starter that can work under minimal supervision and can juggle multiple projects and priorities
  8. Strong service mentality and a great team player
  9. Experience working with Salesforce, Eventbrite, Zoom, or Asana is an asset
  10. Experience working with start-ups is an asset


Salary:​ $45,000/year, pro-rated for 6 months.
