- Align with one of our key sectors: Digital Media & ICT, Digital Health & Devices, FinTech, or Advanced Manufacturing (including Environment & Clean Tech)
- Be an incorporated company in Canada
- Have a business (CRA) number

How we help
If you fit our criteria and are interested in becoming a ventureLAB client, join us at an orientation session, held every other Friday. Once we meet with your company, we will recommend you to the program(s) and resources that best suit your company’s stage and needs.
Accelerated Growth Program
This six-month program is for companies who have launched or are ready to launch a product, have revenue of less than $1 million, and have a minimum 2-person team. Companies accepted into the Accelerated Growth program receive:
- Free desk space at ventureLAB’s innovation hub in Markham
- Dedicated advisor team
- Defined milestones and growth plan
- Educational programs and clinics
- Consulting services
- Other services, depending on the individual company’s needs
IBM Tech Accelerator
The IBM Tech Accelerator program is a six-month program for companies interested in working on IBM technology platforms. Companies should have launched a product on, or be ready to launch on an IBM technology platform.
Capital Investment Program
ventureLAB’s Capital Investment Program is for companies who are ready to scale. Participating companies should have the following minimum criteria, or be approved by ventureLAB’s Venture Growth team:
- Over $500,000 revenue
- Significant market traction
- Annual revenue growth
- Ready to expand company through investment, revenue, team, or markets
Companies accepted into ventureLAB’s Capital Investment Program will work with an advisor to develop a capital strategy roadmap to help prepare them for private investment.
Investment Readiness Clinic
Meet one-on-one with ventureLAB’s Venture Growth Advisor to assess the investment readiness of your business and learn useful tips for preparing your pitch deck.
ventureLAB’s Talent Foundry™ offers company founders access to professional development, talent acquisition, and skills enhancement. Through our Talent Foundry™, gain access to:
Join fellow company founders in monthly peer groups to discuss issues, opportunities to collaborate, and experiences for achieving business growth under these challenges. Current peer groups include SaaS and Hardware.
We’re also pleased to partner with TechConnex to offer ventureLAB clients up to two complimentary peer group sessions. TechConnex peer groups include Tech CEO, Human Resources, Marketing, Women in Tech, Management Skills, Sales, Business Growth, Innovation, Legal Perspectives, and Product Management.
