    ventureLAB’s Innovation Space has a variety of meeting and event rooms available for single or multi-day use. Rooms are ideally suited for board meetings, workshops, seminars, large scale events, and networking. Room capacity and availability is dependent on COVID-19 policies and procedures. 


    As an Innovation Space tenant, meeting rooms* are available free of charge (up to 40 hours per month) or to Innovation Hub members at a discounted rate. The Innovation Space is also available for public access. Request to rent a space here.

    Do I have to be a ventureLAB client to be a tenant?

    Yes – please fill out the Contact Us form and we will contact you with more details about how to apply to be a client and tenant. If you would like to apply to be a client, please click here.

    Do I have to be a ventureLAB client to be a member?

    No, however, interested companies do need to apply for membership. Please click here to apply or contact us for more information.

    Can I bring guests into the space?

    Yes, guests and team members without access badges can be signed in to attend meetings and events, according to guest rights as per tenancy/membership agreement.

    Can I access meeting rooms onsite?

    Yes. Tenants receive 40 hours of free meeting room space per month and members receive 40% off room bookings. To book space in the evenings or on weekends, speak with the Innovation Space team at least three weeks prior to your event.

    What does a membership include?

    Some benefits include a 40% discount to meeting rooms, access to the onsite collaboration zone, mail service, 24/7 badge access, and access to the Innovation Space’s online community. For more information and benefits, please contact us.

    What benefits do I receive as a tenant?

    Some benefits include 24/7 badge access, free access to meeting rooms (up to 40 hours per month), partner benefits, workspace via the CDMN passport program, guest sign-in privileges, dedicated or hot desk workspace, and access to the collaboration zone.     What is the ventureLAB Alumni Network?

    Through the Alumni Network, graduated companies are able to stay connected to the tech ecosystem and continue to foster meaningful connections between their peers, expert advisors, ventureLAB partners, and more.

    Who is eligible for ventureLAB’s Alumni Network?

    ventureLAB’s Alumni Network is a network of growing and scaling tech startups who have successfully graduated from one of ventureLAB’s growth or scale programs (Capital Investment Program, Accelerated Growth Program, Hardware Catalyst Initiative, Tech Undivided).

    Where is ventureLAB’s Vaughan Location?

    Our Vaughan Innovation Space location is located at the Pierre Berton Resource Library.

    Can I list 3600 Steeles Ave. east as my company mailing address?

    Yes, tenants and members are encouraged to use this as their company address and have mail sent here.

    Can I access the Innovation Space if I’m not a tech startup?

    If you’re unsure of whether you qualify for a membership or tenancy, please contact us and we would be happy to review the eligibility criteria or help you find a location that best suits your needs.     Is the Innovation Space open during COVID-19 restrictions?

    Yes – tenant and member badge holders are welcome to access the Innovation Space and their workspace at any time. Effective August 4th, ventureLAB entered Phase 1 of the Return to Office framework, which also allows for a limited reopening of the space to the public and guests (via guest sign in). If you have questions about ventureLAB’s COVID-19 policies, please contact the Innovation Space team for ventureLAB’s Return to Office plan, policies and procedures are subject to change pending government and public health guidelines.

    What protocols and policies are in place for COVID-19?

    • Mask policy in effect throughout building
    • Guest contact tracing and COVID-19 screening
    • Physical separation of all atrium desks to allow for 6ft/2m of separation
    • Directional arrows in common spaces to direct foot traffic, encourage physical distancing and minimize cross-traffic
    • DIY Sanitation Stations in common areas and meeting rooms with disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer for a “Clean In, Clean Out” desk policy
    • Closure of lounge spaces and other furniture that cannot easily be disinfected between uses
