ventureLAB’s 50,000 square foot innovation hub in York Region is home to over 45 companies, that include tech start-ups and scale-ups, corporate and innovation partners, academic institutions, and not-for-profit organizations.

 

The innovation hub is located on the first floor of IBM Canada’s headquarters in Markham and features open collaboration space in a naturally lit atrium, desks or workstations for tech companies, semi-private, and private offices, as well as meeting rooms and event space.

WHY CO-LOCATE HERE?

Aside from being in a collaborative environment alongside other inspiring companies, entrepreneurs, and partners, we have a supportive community that hosts amazing events, frequent potlucks, and a regular badminton group! In 2018 alone, we held over 300 events and welcomed 7,000 visitors to our space.

Tours

Are you a company interested in renting space and would like a tour to see what we’re all about? Join us at an orientation session held at ventureLAB every other Friday.

Meeting Room Rentals

Are you looking for space to hold a meeting? We have meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 70 people. Complete the External Event Rental Form to submit a formal request.

Event Rentals

We’d love for you to host your event at the IBM-MCC! We have event space that can accommodate up to 165 people. Complete the External Event Rental Form to submit a formal request with the details of your event and we’ll get back to you in 2-3 business days. Please note that we do require some lead time for events:

  • Events of less than 10 people: 2 weeks notice minimum
  • Events of 10-50 people: 4 weeks notice minimum
  • Events of 50 or more people: 8 weeks notice minimum
