Avinash Persaud joins ventureLAB as VP, Hardware Catalyst Initiative

We are excited to welcome Avinash Persaud to the ventureLAB team. Avinash is the VP for our recently announced Hardware Catalyst Initiative.

Avinash started his career with Bell Northern Research/Nortel, developing the architecture for voice messaging systems for both public and private networks. He later joined Leitch Technologies in 2001 as an Engineering Service Director performing product qualification and manufacturing support.

In 2004, he was AMD’s Senior Manager responsible for graphics production quality at all graphics customers – desktop, laptop, mobile and gaming OEMs.

Avinash later joined Fresco Microchip in 2009 as Director of Quality. In 2012 Fresco Microchip merged with Redmere to become Spectra7 Microsystems, at which time he was appointed Sr. Director of Operations & Quality responsible for setting-up semiconductor manufacturing supply chains; qualifying new manufacturing suppliers; managing logistics; and establishing production tests.
