Last Updated October 13 At ventureLAB, we are committed to creating an exceptional experience for each and every one of our stakeholders, and we do that in part by ensuring the health, wellness, and safety of everyone who plays a role in our innovation ecosystem: our founders, tenants, partners, post-secondary institutions, team, and board. Together, we are supporting our local, provincial, and federal public health officials through awareness, enhanced protocol and procedures within our innovation space, and making our decisions based on the latest facts and data. Our team has been monitoring the COVID-19 with prudent caution and pragmatism, which has included facilitating an increased awareness for our staff and tenants about COVID-19 guidelines - sourced from the Public Health Agency of Canada, Ontario Ministry of Health, and York Region Public Health. The following policy changes have been made in our operations and are subject to change, as we continuously monitor and evaluate the situation, pending guidance from public health and government officials.
We are continuously monitoring and updating our policies based on the latest updates and evidence from our public health experts:
We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to share regular updates and changes to our policy as the status of COVID-19 changes. As we slowly start to re-open, we are safely and cautiously easing restrictions, but our hub remains closed to the general public and staff continue to WFH.
We have a dedicated web page for entrepreneurs and founders to help you navigate your business during this unprecedented time. We are continuously updating this resource page as we receive new information. While our physical office is closed, our team remains available to help you and your business. If there is information or resources that would better help you navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, please drop us a note at hello@venturelab.ca. Thank you for your support and understanding as we navigate these uncharted waters, together.
