As the global semiconductor industry undergoes rapid change and growth, Canada is uniquely positioned to seize emerging opportunities. At Elevate Festival 2024 in downtown Toronto, ventureLAB will host the panel "Chips on the Block: Canada’s Strategic Role in the Global Semiconductor Value Chain," where experts will explore how the country leverages its strengths to be integrated into the semiconductor fabrication supply chain.

The panel will be moderated by Avinash Persaud, Vice President of the Hardware Catalyst Initiative at ventureLAB, and will feature industry leaders Nizar Rida, Vice President of Engineering at Marvell Technology, and Niraj Mathur, Co-Founder of Blumind, who will discuss strategies for Canada to maintain and expand its footprint in the fast-evolving sector of semiconductors.

“Excited to be back at Elevate Festival for the second time!” said Persaud. “I’m looking forward to chatting with Niraj and Nizar about how Canada can make big strides in the semiconductor world, as their shared passion for the industry promises a great discussion.”

Be sure to check out the panel on October 3rd at 11:25 am on the Moonshot stage.
