Pond Technologies are using algae in order to save the world

“I’m the guy who has the crazy idea that we can grow algae off of the industrial emissions and help to save the world,” said Steve Martin, CEO of Pond Technologies.

ventureLAB-supported company Pond Technologies is fighting to save the environment in a very unique way. Pond takes sustainability to a new level by taking the waste products of industry – such as greenhouse gas emissions and CO2 & turning it into algae paste. The algae that Pond creates is cooked into various superfoods such as chlorella and spirulina, as well as farm food for animals and cosmetics.
