Roman Zastawny

Roman brings over 25 years of diverse scientific, product development, regulatory, business and managerial experience to the medtech industry. Roman has held executive level positions in multiple start-up companies where he was instrumental in leading efforts to achieve regulatory approval (FDA, Health Canada, EU CE Mark) for multiple novel diagnostic products for clinical laboratory and Point-of- Care (POC) use. Through his consulting company, iD 3 Consulting, Roman provides broad medtech expertise, strategic vision and innovative solutions to emerging companies that envision taking their product concepts from bench to bedside.Roman received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the Ontario Cancer Institute.
