InField Solutions: Smart lockers for contactless pickup

inField Solutions is a local Markham technology startup that has created a smart locker solution called the inField Shoppe iQ Connected Cubbies. This year, ventureLAB installed InField’s Connected Cubbies, a patented solution for smart parcel and food delivery. The InField Connected Cubbies enable retail and food services to excel in a technologically advancing society, where convenience, consumer health, and safety take precedence. The Connected Cubbies are a patent-pending smart locker solution that provide a curbside pickup and delivery management system driven by a mobile app. They combine the advantages of physical shopping with the convenience and safety of online commerce. As a member of ventureLAB’s Innovation Space, inField is able to test and demo their product to potential customers and investors. This unique opportunity gives InField a chance to ensure that their product is performing to standard and receive valuable feedback from the end-user in real time. AIH Technology: Intelligent sensors for fever screening and automated mask-policy enforcement

As long term COVID implications continue to inform the trajectory of innovation, tech firms and entrepreneurs have identified new and practical applications for their services and products. AIH Technology is an AI computer vision company offering Facial Recognition as a Service (FRaaS) through its facial recognition algorithm. Last year, AIH Technology applied its computer vision expertise to develop intelligent solutions for fever screening and automated mask-policy enforcement. In March 2021, ventureLAB’s Innovation Space installed AIH Technology’s MONITIO sensors, which enforce safety measures for companies, partners, and the ventureLAB team as they use the space. Through partnerships with leading technology platforms like IBM Cloud and Microsoft Azure, AIH is committed to the ethical and responsible application of its advanced artificial intelligence platform and help communities save time, save money, and save lives. AIH Technology is a long-time Innovation Space member and part of the inaugural Tech Undivided cohort.
