Our New Website is Live!

June 24, 2019

We are incredibly pleased and irrepressibly excited to announce that, after months of hard work and planning, we have a new website!

Since 2011, ventureLAB has helped over 2,000 tech entrepreneurs build, grow, and scale their businesses. From the outset, we’ve been committed to supporting start-ups and scale-ups, helping to build out and promote the incredible talent that lives and works in York Region. In 2017, we partnered with the City of Markham to launch our innovation hub, the IBM Innovation Space, Markham Convergence Centre. Within a year, we expanded our presence in the space to 50,000 sq. ft. (up from 25,000 sq. ft.) and 45+ tenant companies and partners. As we’ve grown and evolved, we’ve continued to reinforce a deeply-rooted culture of customer-service in everything we do. Your success is our success.

Over the past year, we have strengthened, refined, and re-defined our mission and values to reflect the growth of our organization: at ventureLAB, we grow globally-competitive tech titans that build-to-scale in Canada. Our new website reflects that.

As you peruse the new site, please let us know your thoughts. On the Home page you’ll see the key sectors of tech companies we support, and the key pillars that guide our services and programs. Catch up on the latest tech news from York Region and beyond on our News + Content page, and hop over to our About page to learn more about our mission and vision, and the team behind the work ventureLAB does. Check out Success Stories to see who we’ve helped, and Programs to see how we help. If you’re not already part of our community, pop over to our Apply page, where you can tell us a bit about yourself and register for an orientation. Want to partner with us? Check out who we’ve worked with, and get in touch to learn more.

We’re continuing to make changes and add content over the next weeks, so stay tuned and continue to check back in!
